When i performed A MILLION SITAs in Bangalore, the second part of the evening was with a young male Bharatanatyam dancer who sparkled with his agility and atheleticism.

Parshwanath upadhye was amazing at his dancing. His energy was equal throughout a performance which is very difficult task to maintain. Each step was like a energy packet coming out. It was as powerful as Gamma rays. He did a brilliant job..

Parshwanath was flawless in his performance of Arjun and even though he does not follow Bengali, his expressions of disgust, love and admiration convinced the audience about the effort he had put in to understand and prepare for his character

"Maha Tripura Sundari in Sivaranjini raga was presented beautifully by none other than the Malaysians’ favourite  Parshwanath Upadhye.Though he was given only two solo items, he won the hearts of the audience, with his neat footwork, leaps and jumps. The perfect mandi adavus was a treat for the eyes and the applause would not stop"

The long varnam gave ample scope for Parshwanath to display his abhinaya skills. His costume and jewellery were simple and his dance eloquent. As Ashish Khokar summed up, "Everything was understated. The program showed that a sanchari need not be repetitive to be effective. A single line said it all and it was yet within tradition."
